LOCK 101…

As I work on finishing this Mixed Media it becomes thought provoking!

This old Flight of Locks, heading out to the sea

Our Canals are in crisis… or is it just me

The locks are all closed as we wait for a call

Water’s it’s ‘life blood’ and the levels just fall

More and more breaches,  it flows out and away

And we make little progress… day after day

Our passage delays means we’re low on supplies

And as more news come in… you can hear Boaters sighs

We need to head back to our ‘home’ Winter base

But as nightfall descends… who knows what we face!
