I’m thinking of building an Ark
As the rain hurtles down in the dark
They say for the gardens it’s good
But not when you wallow in mud
… I’m thinking of building an Ark
Bring on the sun, let it shine from above
Bring back the light and the warmth that we love
The fields are all flooded, the cattle look sad
River levels so high, it really looks bad
… I’m thinking of building an Ark
Wake me up when the Summer starts to appear
When we can sit in the garden enjoying a beer
Right now when I look out, feeling our pain
All I can see it more flipping rain
… I’m thinking of building an Ark
